From November 13th to 14th, the kick-off meeting of the TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More) project, co-funded by the European Union under the ERASMUS+ SPORT program, was held in Matera at the HUBOUT Laboratory, organized by A.S.D. CULTURA E SPORT.

The final sporting event of the European Erasmus+ sport Youcampdis Project, reserved for athletes with intellectual disabilities, took place today in Matera.
The 50-meter dash, long jump, and vortex throw events took place at the “R. Duni” training camp.
The Baskin Tournament was held at the Palazzetto dello Sport on Via P. Vena.
The final conference also took place, presenting the project’s results and hosting a closing ceremony with awards for all the athletes and their coaches.
The event was attended by Giuliano Paterino, Councilor for Sport for the Municipality of Matera, Chiara Cifarelli, member of the Basilicata Regional Council of the Italian Paralympic Committee, and Lorenzo Calia, President of the Italian Sports Center of Matera.
The event is part of the European Week of Sport 2025.

A busy day of work in the beautiful city of Benidorm (Spain) for the 2nd transnational meeting of the PACAP project.

– We have set the date for the next online meeting among all partners to discuss project progress.
The next transnational meeting will be held in Ljubljana (Slovenia) on December 8, 2025, organized by SUS.
We have worked hard in these first six months of the project to promote sports activities for cancer patients.

Sarà la Regione Basilicata ad ospitare la prima tappa del tour nazionale “Sport in Regione”, in programma il prossimo 19 giugno a Matera. L’annuncio è stato dato oggi dal Presidente della Regione, Vito Bardi, durante il “Festival delle Regioni” in corso di svolgimento a Venezia. L’iniziativa, promossa dalla Conferenza delle Regioni e delle Province autonome, nasce con l’obiettivo di portare concretamente sui territori strumenti e opportunità a sostegno della pratica sportiva, grazie alla collaborazione del Ministro per lo Sport e i Giovani, del Dipartimento per lo Sport della Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri, di Sport e Salute, dell’Istituto per il Credito Sportivo e Culturale e del Gestore Servizi Energetici (GSE).
“Siamo particolarmente orgogliosi che la prima tappa di questo tour nazionale sia in Basilicata. A Matera – ha detto Bardi che è anche coordinatore della Commissione sport della Conferenza delle Regioni – incontreremo Comuni, federazioni sportive, associazioni e tutti gli attori locali che ogni giorno lavorano per promuovere lo sport. Non ci limiteremo a presentare bandi e opportunità: allestiremo veri e propri desk informativi per aiutare ciascun territorio a individuare lo strumento più adatto alle proprie esigenze. Questo – ha aggiunto Bardi – è il senso profondo del nostro lavoro: non scrivere documenti che restano negli uffici, ma scendere in campo, ascoltare, semplificare. È la dimostrazione che quando Governo e Regioni lavorano insieme, con lealtà e concretezza, i risultati arrivano”.
A Matera, per il primo appuntamento di questo format, sarà presente il Ministro Abodi: “Lo ringrazio – ha sottolineato Bardi -. La sua disponibilità ad ascoltare e a lavorare fianco a fianco con le Regioni rappresenta un esempio virtuoso di come dovrebbe funzionare il rapporto tra Stato e autonomie territoriali. Un grazie sentito va anche alla Conferenza delle Regioni, al Dipartimento per lo Sport, a Sport e Salute, all’Istituto per il Credito Sportivo e al GSE. Insieme, in questi mesi, abbiamo costruito qualcosa di importante: non solo un progetto, ma un vero e proprio metodo di lavoro che mette al centro i territori e i cittadini. Sono certo che, partendo dalla Basilicata – ha concluso Bardi – “Sport in Regione” sarà un successo in tutta Italia, perché unisce istituzioni, competenze e, soprattutto, la passione per lo sport che anima le nostre comunità”.

International Youth Sport Camp for People With Disabilities is a project implemented by national sports organizations of 4 EU countries: Italy, Portugal, Croatia and Greece. The project aims to transmit the knowledge and skills acquired in grassroots sports to people with intellectual disabilities (PwID) by individuals aged between 18 and 30 (peer trainers).
The Project is coordinated by our Association in collaboration with the partners ISTARSKA SPORTSKA AKADEMIJA (Croatia), Novas Olímpiadas Especiais (Portugal) and AETOI THESSALONIKIS (Greece).
This will be achieved through the organization of a youth sports camp in each country, with the primary objective of enabling young participants to actively engage in disability sports and cultivate skills for future professional roles in the field of grassroots sports for PwID.
The youth camp serves as a platform to foster intercultural dialogue, allowing participants to explore grassroots sports for people with disabilities and understand their role in promoting positive values within society. Through active participation in sporting activities and youth exchanges, participants will have the opportunity to develop their skills and attitudes, while raising awareness of the importance of inclusion in sport. The overall objective is to stimulate engagement in society and encourage active participation by addressing socially relevant topics related to sports for disabled people.
The project involves participants from 4 partner organizations. Each organization contributes at least 30 young people with intellectual disabilities and 3 group leaders (peer trainers) to participate in the project activities and the camp for a total of 12 volunteers and 120 PwIDs involved in sport events.
The planned activities are:
1. Management, event preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
2. Seminars and sporting events in 4 countries

• Guidelines for the organization of inclusive and sustainable sporting events

• Inclusive sporting events and activities in 4 EU countries

Dopo una fase di testaggio è finalmente pronta ed accessibile gratuitamente la piattaforma di formazione del progetto realizzata da IPMAIA, al seguenti indirizzo : https://widiu.pt/outspo/
Con la frequenza dei 5 moduli di formazione verranno sviluppate le competenze sugli outdoor sport di insegnanti, allenatori e volontari sportivi.
Al termine delle lezioni e dopo il test finale sarà possibile scaricare il certificato di partecipazione.
La piattaforma sarà aperta fino al termine del progetto 30 maggio 2024.
Inoltre, come strumenti di formazione, sono disponibili anche le Linee Guida ‘Outdoor sport’ elaborate da UCAM.

With the results of the previous study (WP2), a guide for the sustainable management of sporting events was developed.
Specifically, the guidelines present the main environmental, economic and ethical-social alternatives to be preferred during the entire organization of a sporting event, in order to reduce its environmental impacts and at the same time have positive effects on the main stakeholders (sports associations, local communities, localities, local administrations, etc.).
The Guidelines contains chapters relating to organizational secretariat, location and mobility, setups, waste management, water, communication in order to provide indications on the sustainable management of a sporting event and describes in detail which are the main alternatives to be preferred to make an event sustainable sports, with particular focus on the individual phases of the event. Finally, there are some insights on the topic of ecological product certifications.

The European Commission and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) are happy to inform you that the next Erasmus+ Sport Info Day will take place on 30 January 2024.
During the event, potential applicants will learn about the political context, the future programme and the different funding opportunities available in 2024 for sport projects.
Speakers will also discuss recent policy developments and will give advice and practical tips on how to prepare and submit a project for the next calls for proposals.
Participants will have the chance to network and meet potential partners from all over Europe.
The event will take place in Brussels and registration will open soon on the EACEA website.
Note that if you cannot come to Brussels, the event will also be broadcasted on the EACEA website (no need to register).

Da oggi è aperta la piattaforma di formazione del progetto PROPACT per seguire gratuitamente i corsi “professional” ed il corso “young” per migliorare le competenze professionali di insegnanti, educatori, volontari sportivi e giovani sui giochi e sport tradizionali europei.

Basterà semplicemente registrarsi, dalla sezione login, creando un nuovo account ed inserendo i dati richiesti ed immediatamente il sistema invierà per e-mail le credenziali di accesso.
Oltre ai video sono presenti i testi delle lezioni in inglese che ognuno, se vorrà, potrà tradurre nella propria lingua.
Al termine di ogni modulo ci sono i test di valutazione.
